The passing was foretold and refused-to-be-believed. Multiple Quranic and prophetic signs; yet Umar denied it until Abu Bakr recited Q 3:144. The salah was the thread through the finale — the last public act, the last smile, the last command.

Open questions

When was the Ila’ / the marital dispute? Opinions span 4–9 AH; the presence of all nine wives vs. pre-hijab evidences clash. Likely 8–9 AH.
When was Hajj made fard (Q 3:97)? Bears on whether Hajj may be delayed once one is able — a live fiqh dispute; the lecturer leans to “may delay with genuine intention.”
The Tamim al-Dari / Jassasah hadith (Sahih Muslim) — its details of a chained, giant, two-eyed Dajjal alive now clash with more authentic reports (short, one-eyed, future-born). A minority (Rashid Rida, Ibn al-Uthaymeen) doubted it despite its being in Muslim; recorded, not resolved.
Al-Rafiq al-A’la — “the highest Company” (the prophets/righteous) or a Name of Allah? Both held; they overlap.
